One of the things that excites us is all of the energy and offers we get from you in the community.  What frustrates us about that is that we have been unable to harness what comes to us.  Many of you ask "How can I help?", "What do you need?", and we feel bad that we haven't been able to provide direction so far.  We apologize for that.  This is now changing -

Meet Joyce - OfC's adult volunteer coordinator

Joyce Schaubert contributes uniquely apt perspective and ability as OfC's adult volunteer coordinator.  She was with us in Haiti in January and so has experienced the communities we serve there; she went as an OfC student and knows what our program is; she is a community volunteer and understands the need to serve you, too, by making sure you have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways.  As a professional administrator, Joyce has a career's worth of skills and knowledge to be effectively efficient.  We are thrilled that such a competent caring person sees that working with us in our home community is worth her time and effort.
